Chronic Fatigue Syndrome suppresses the functions of the B cells and T cells as well as the complement system, causing flu-like symptoms that are designed to help fight off infection, such as fever, weight loss, muscle and joint pain, headache and severe fatigue.

Rheumatoid arthritis attacks joints, causes tumor-like growths and eventually can lead to fused joints, severely restricted movement, excruciating pain and a deformed appearance.
